IBS – Integrated Building Solutions successfully executed the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of water storage, pressure boosting and electric water heating systems for the Hassan Island project, a premium coastal development on the north-western Red Sea coast designed to support high-end hospitality and residential facilities. Located away from established utility networks, the project required a self-sufficient water system capable of operating reliably in a demanding island environment.
The works were carried out in line with strict quality, performance and durability requirements, to ensure uninterrupted service and long-term operational reliability.
IBS Scope of Work
IBS was responsible for:
Supplying and installing bulk water storage tanks on prepared level bases
Supplying and installing packaged pressure booster sets with vertical multistage pumps, mounted on steel skids complete with isolation valves and pressure gauges
Installing diaphragm pressure vessels to stabilise system pressure and limit pump cycling
Supplying and installing electrical control panels incorporating Schneider protective devices, voltage and phase-failure protection, and fully identified wiring for maintenance access
Installing interconnecting distribution pipework between the storage tanks, pump sets and the site network
Supplying industrial-grade electric water heaters
Integration with the project's mechanical and plumbing infrastructure
Testing, commissioning and handover of the complete system
