IBS – Integrated Building Solutions successfully executed the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of water storage, pressure boosting and electric water heating systems for the Hassan Island project, a premium coastal development on the north-western Red Sea coast designed to support high-end hospitality and residential facilities. Located away from established utility networks, the project required a self-sufficient water system capable of operating reliably in a demanding island environment.

The works were carried out in line with strict quality, performance and durability requirements, to ensure uninterrupted service and long-term operational reliability.

IBS Scope of Work

IBS was responsible for:

  • Supplying and installing bulk water storage tanks on prepared level bases

  • Supplying and installing packaged pressure booster sets with vertical multistage pumps, mounted on steel skids complete with isolation valves and pressure gauges

  • Installing diaphragm pressure vessels to stabilise system pressure and limit pump cycling

  • Supplying and installing electrical control panels incorporating Schneider protective devices, voltage and phase-failure protection, and fully identified wiring for maintenance access

  • Installing interconnecting distribution pipework between the storage tanks, pump sets and the site network

  • Supplying industrial-grade electric water heaters

  • Integration with the project's mechanical and plumbing infrastructure

  • Testing, commissioning and handover of the complete system

Products Supplied

The project utilized electric water heaters from Eau Chauffage, selected for their robust construction, operational efficiency, and proven suitability for large-scale developments and challenging environmental conditions, together with Niagara vertical multistage pumps supplied as packaged pressure booster sets.

Installed Model:

  • ECC-600L

System Advantages

  • Consistent water pressure at every point of use, maintained automatically regardless of demand

  • Reliable hot water supply for resort and residential facilities

  • Stored capacity providing operational continuity at a site remote from direct supply networks

  • Pressure vessels reducing pump starts, extending service life and lowering energy consumption

  • Robust industrial design and protective devices suited to a coastal environment

  • Long service life with reduced maintenance requirements, meeting the standards of large-scale premium developments

Project Value

This project highlights IBS's ability to deliver complete electromechanical solutions for unique and challenging environments. By combining bulk storage, automated pressure boosting and industrial water heating within a single delivered scope, IBS continues to support landmark developments with systems that perform reliably long after handover.
